Colin Quinn: Long Story Short (2011) on Netflix

Plot summary

Colin Quinn turns the rise and fall of empires into a one-man show, and the empire of his own day is on the list. He steps into voices from the past, letting Socrates and Snooki speak, and holds up the attitudes and bad habits that undid the strongest nations. The performance is not a plain standup set: sharp commentary runs alongside the impressions, and the history is played for laughs. Quinn first staged the show on Broadway.
