Plot summary

By 2052, society has divided into two extremes. The people with the means can hunt and kill other people for sport, and the people without the means have become the prey. The Brotherhood of Mars Corporation stages those hunts on grounds it controls. Morgan Farber works for the corporation and speaks out against what it does, so the Brotherhood casts him out into the wilderness as one of the hunted. He joins a struggling tribe of survivors, the Garbage People. Among them is Naomi, a resourceful young woman who is deadly with a bow. The Brotherhood then sends its most bloodthirsty hunters to track the two of them down.
