Plot summary
While the owner is away, Rakib works as a housekeeper and assistant at a mansion that stands empty. Purna, who owns the house, is a retired general and returns to his village to run for regent, so the house Rakib keeps is no longer empty. Rakib accompanies Purna every day to the activities of the candidacy, campaigning and putting up banners among them. In Purna he sees the father he has longed for, and as the campaign goes on the two grow close. When vandals damage the campaign, Rakib defends Purna, and the vandalism sets off a chain of violence.
