Plot summary
Kim Byung-doo is a gangster in his late twenties in Seoul. His family faces eviction and he cannot find the money to stop it. Going around his boss Sang-chul, he takes a job straight from Sang-chul's superior, President Hwang, who is pressed by the prosecutor Park. The work promises Byung-doo money and a place at Hwang's side. At the same time, Min-ho, a friend from elementary school who now directs films, seeks him out. Min-ho's gangster scripts keep being rejected as fake, so he wants to interview Byung-doo for authenticity, and he brings Hyun-joo, Byung-doo's high school love, back into his life. Byung-doo tries to rekindle the relationship.
