Plot summary
In the early 1900s, Albert Einstein lives on his family's apple farm in Tasmania but cares more about physics. His father shows him a shed where his grandfather brewed beer and says the family has long wanted bubbles in beer. After heavy drinking, Albert works out a formula for splitting the beer atom and splits one with a hammer and a chisel. His father sends him to the mainland to patent the formula. The train to Sydney carries Marie Curie, a Polish-French scientist, and Preston Preston, who manages the patent office.
