Plot summary
Lee Dae-ho is a single father who manages Tower Sky, a 120-story twin-tower complex in Yeouido, Seoul. He promised his daughter Ha-na a Christmas Eve together, but the building's owner, Mr. Jo, is throwing a luxury party for tenants, VIP guests and politicians, and Dae-ho has to run it. During inspections he finds the sprinklers on the Riverview Tower have failed because the pipes froze, yet Jo and the safety head, Mr. Cha, go ahead with the celebration despite the risk and the forecast winds. Two helicopters Mr. Jo leased spray snow over the party until updrafts send them spinning; one hits the skybridge, the other plows into the Riverview Tower and sets it alight. Captain Kang Young-ki and his firefighters, joined by rookie Lee Sung-woo, head inside, while Dae-ho searches for Ha-na.
