Plot summary

A family of four leaves its homeland after an unspecified calamity and reaches an uninhabited island. Yasmine and Nabil settle with their children, Adam and Jana, in an abandoned lighthouse on the island. They scavenge what the island offers, ration their limited supplies and wait to be rescued. Their makeshift radio fails, and a broadcast about migrants drowning drives home how far they are from help. Adam grows anxious and confrontational about the family's chances of survival, while Jana copes by retreating into her imagination. A body bag found near the shore adds to the strain on the four of them.
