Plot summary
Svend and Bjarne work side by side at Holger's butcher shop in a small Danish town, and Holger's mockery of Svend's marinade has worn them down. Through the realtor Hans, known as House Hans, they buy a closed shop and set up on their own. Svend is engaged to Tina. Bjarne visits his twin brother Eigil, who has been in a coma at a sanatorium for years, and at the cemetery he meets Astrid, who works there, and invites her to the opening. On opening day no customers arrive, and Svend accidentally locks an electrician inside the meat freezer while the lights are being fixed.
