Plot summary
Stephanie Hunt expects to move in with her boyfriend Brian, but days before Christmas he ends the relationship, and her roommate Kate has already let her room to someone else. She decides to fly home to Connecticut. Michael Nolan lives in Los Angeles and travels to Boston every month to see Courtney Carson, his girlfriend of five years, and he is shopping for a ring. At LAX their first exchange goes badly, and they end up seated together. A snowstorm stops the eastbound flights, and the plane is rerouted to Bozeman, Montana.
