Plot summary
Ravn owns a Danish technology company called IT. To cover the unpopular decisions he had to make, he blamed them on a president who does not exist, an invented figure he called the boss of it all, who supposedly lived in America and wrote to the staff by email. Now Ravn wants to sell IT to Finnur, an Icelandic entrepreneur, and Finnur insists on negotiating with the president in person. Ravn hires Kristoffer, an unemployed actor devoted to the actor Antonio Gambini, and puts him under a confidentiality contract to play the president. Kristoffer works alongside the employees, meeting Ravn in public places for notes on his performance, and tries to hold the role together until the next round of talks.
