Plot summary
Dave Goodman, Sam Schechter and Jeff Davis share a dorm at Holden University, where the three of them have spent nearly four years cheating on exams. In their last semester, Dave meets Angela Patton during one of their schemes and scribbles his number for her on the exam paper. Ethan Dulles, a student who calls himself Cool Ethan and is fixated on Angela, sees this and keeps the sheet. He tells the roommates he will report them unless they arrange a date for him with Angela that goes well. The three set up situations meant to make her like him, while Dave tells Sam that Angela matters no more to him than any other trick they have pulled.
