Tim Ware

Biography

Tim Ware is an American actor who was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Marist School there and studied drama and finance at Duke University on a tennis scholarship. He spent time in the Marines, then worked on business interests across Europe, Asia and Africa, and later joined the fire department in Decatur, Georgia, while continuing to work as a crop duster. Twice each month he flew to New York to study with acting coach Uta Hagen, who encouraged him to pursue stage work. An agent saw him during a performance of God's Favorite and signed him immediately. He landed a role at his first audition, joined SAG, and has acted since, appearing in more than 60 films and television shows. He had recurring roles as Judge Abbott Garner in CBS' Reckless and as Dr. Perlmutt in the Sundance Channel series Rectify.
