Richard de Klerk

Richard de Klerk is a Canadian screen actor and producer whose credits include independent Canadian films. Born in Vancouver, he trained at the Lyric School of Acting in that city. He has accumulated more than 40 roles in films, short films, television films, and series. His film work includes Repeaters (2010), Cole, Fathers & Sons, Bang Bang You're Dead, Mr. Rice's Secret, and CBGB (2013), and he appeared in several Carl Bessai features, including Part of the Game (2004), which earned him the jury prize for best actor at the Hertfordshire Film Festival. He played Will Scarlett in Beyond Sherwood Forest (2009) and had television roles in The 4400, Cedar Cove, Strange Empire, Reign, and Motive. For Beijing, New York (2015), he won three awards in 2016, including best actor honors from the Barcelona Planet Film Festival and the IndieFEST Film Awards, and he received three Leo Award nominations, one for Cole.
