Olivia Rodrigo
Biography
Olivia Rodrigo is an American singer-songwriter and actress who began performing as a child, appearing in commercials before her first screen role in the 2015 direct-to-video film An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success. She grew up in Temecula, California, and drew wide attention for leading parts in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series on Disney+ and in Bizaardvark on the Disney Channel. Signing with Geffen Records in 2020, she turned toward music, and her debut album Sour (2021) reached the top of the Billboard 200 behind the chart-topping singles Drivers License and Good 4 U. The making of that record was captured in the documentary Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U (2022). Guts (2023) also debuted at number one, led by Vampire, and her Guts World Tour (2024) became a concert film. Her honors include three Grammy Awards.
