Kyle Selig
Biography
Kyle Selig is an American actor, singer, and dancer who grew up in Huntington Beach, California. He won the National High School Musical Theatre Award in 2010 and later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theater from Carnegie Mellon University in 2014. On stage, he originated the role of Aaron Samuels in the Tony Award-nominated musical Mean Girls, which opened on Broadway in 2018. His other theater work includes West Side Story at the Hollywood Bowl, October Sky at the Old Globe, and Joan of Arc: Into the Fire off-Broadway. In 2024 he joined the Broadway company of Water for Elephants as the lead, Jacob Jankowski. He also appeared as Mr. Komos in Monster High: The Movie (2022) and released his first album in 2021. In 2025 he joined Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends at the Ahmanson Theatre and on Broadway.

Selig won the National High School Musical Theatre Award in June 2010 at age 17, along with a $10,000 scholarship.
First role
Selig was cast as the standby for Elder Kevin Price in The Book of Mormon in August 2013 while still a student at Carnegie Mellon University.
Early training
Selig studied Musical Theater at the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts, a district magnet program at HBHS, and took the lead role of Don Lockwood in Singin' in the Rain.
