Krista Carpenter

Krista was raised in northern Indiana in the United States and received a BA from Indiana University where she studied Spanish, English, and Theater. After living in Seville, Spain and Queretaro, Mexico, Krista moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Krista worked as an actress in film, television, commercials and theater before transitioning into production and development. After working as an assistant to Stacey Snider (DreamWorks) for several years, Krista worked as producer Gary Foster's on-set assistant. This position segued into a position as Creative Executive then VP of Feature Film Development at Krasnoff/Foster Entertainment on the Paramount lot in Hollywood. In 2012, Krista relocated to Perth, Australia to take the role of Development Manager at ScreenWest, Western Australia's state funding agency. In 2013, Ms. Carpenter worked as interim Director Development at ScreenWest overseeing General, Digital, and Indigenous development funding programs and initiatives.
