He acted in and produced short films such as You Always Stalk the Ones You Love (2002), and earned a Best Actor nomination at the Action on Film Festival for Some of an Equation. He produced and starred in Statistics, which brought him a Best Performance award at the Silver Lake International Film Festival. He co-wrote Surveillance (2008) with Jennifer Lynch, produced it and played a lead opposite Bill Pullman; the film screened at Cannes and won Best Picture at Sitges.
