Biography
Connie Mason is an American actress and model. Hugh Hefner chose her as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for June 1963, and her centerfold was shot by Pompeo Posar. Born in Washington, D.C., she went to a private girls school in Danville, Virginia, and moved with her family to Florida at 17. In Miami she managed the cosmetics department at Jordan Marsh. A family friend suggested she apply to a new Playboy club, where she became a camera bunny and drew customers with her bubbly personality. She later worked in Chicago as the club's bunny photographer. After Oleg Cassini introduced her to the Eileen Ford Agency in New York, she signed with the agency and began fashion modeling and national television commercials. Director Herschell Gordon Lewis discovered her in 1963 and gave her the starring role in Blood Feast (1963), followed by the lead in Two Thousand Maniacs! (1964).
