Andrey Krasko

Andrei Krasko was a Russian actor born on August 10, 1957, in Leningrad to actor Ivan Krasko. After completing training at the Leningrad theater and cinema institute in 1979, he debuted that year in Lichnoe Svidanie and appeared in bit parts in Soviet films. He later stepped away from the screen for several years, then returned and gained wide notice through television series, including Banditskiy Peterburg: Baron and Agent natsionalnoi bezopasnosti. On film, he worked with Mariya Mironova and Vladimir Mashkov in Tycoon: A New Russian (2002) and with Marat Basharov and Sergey Makovetskiy in 72 Meters (2004). He had supporting roles in the war dramas 9th Company (2005) and Turetskiy gambit (2005). His last screen role was tycoon Felix Korogodsky in Lyubov-Morkov (2007). Krasko also performed on stage at the St. Petersburg Theatre Priyut Komedianta and accumulated over 40 film and television credits. He died in 2006.
