Andrew Roth

Andrew Roth is an actor who trained in theater and film at Stonybrook University, where a grounding in martial arts and other disciplines taught him command of both body and mind. His screen credits run to more than 70 films made at home and abroad, along with a number of television shows. Those parts have ranged across heroes and villains, several artists, addicts, a cowboy, a surfer and a singer, and even the Apostle Paul. He has also worked behind the scenes, writing, producing, directing, serving as assistant director and handling stunts, so that he could generate work for himself instead of depending on offers. That willingness to seize the initiative, he hoped, would help him steer clear of being typecast in a single kind of part, something he wanted to sustain throughout his career.
