Rigor Mortis (2013) on Netflix

Plot summary

Chin Siu-ho, a former actor, moves into a run-down apartment building after his wife and son leave him, intending to kill himself. His hanging disturbs twin girl ghosts that haunt the building, and they seize his body until a neighbor named Yau bursts in, cuts the rope and drives them out. Yau once hunted jiangshi, as his family did before him, and now runs a restaurant. Elsewhere in the tower, an elderly resident named Uncle Tung dies in a fall down a stairwell. His wife Meiyi turns to Gau, a practitioner of black magic, to bring him back; Gau covers the corpse's face with a coin mask and warns her never to remove it. Chin also meets Yang Feng, a single mother, and her son Pak.
