Pulse 2: Afterlife (2008) on Netflix

Plot summary

Ghosts travel through the wireless internet, and a pandemic of suicides and unexplained deaths has emptied the cities. Survivors avoid anything electrical to keep clear of the soulless ghosts that wander the planet. Most ghosts repeat a loop from their human lives, and some do not know they are dead, haunting their old homes, afraid their souls will be torn from them. Michelle is searching for her daughter Justine when she becomes a ghost herself. Stephen, Michelle's ex-husband, follows her trail and finds that she meant to kill Justine and then herself. He takes Justine to a cabin, where his girlfriend Marta joins them. The cabin's laptop switches on by itself and messages from Michelle arrive.
