Plot summary
Four years after his separation, Gabriel has built his days around Sofía, his young daughter, and his work, and he has stayed away from romantic relationships. Then Vicky, a woman he loved from a distance in adolescence, comes back into his life. She is independent and wants a life without children; she will not become involved with a man who has a child. Gabriel tells her he has no children. To keep the romance going, he hides Sofía and her belongings from Vicky, and his life becomes a torment as he plays tricks to keep the child out of sight.
