Plot summary
Morgan Pålsson is a television foreign correspondent and a disaster at his job. The management sends him to Matobo, a small country in North Africa, to report on its first free elections, with his trusted cameraman Robert Flycht. Insurgents stage a coup d'etat while the two are there, and the upheaval leaves Morgan as the only Western journalist on the scene and in the world spotlight. For Morgan it is a chance to show what he can do. Åsne Seierland, a famous Norwegian war correspondent and his fiercest rival, is in Matobo too, and the two of them are chasing the same story.
