Plot summary
Kippie Kann's talk show is where Stacy Holt works as an associate producer. Derek seems to be everything she wants, but he avoids commitment and will not speak about the women he knew before her. Tapes Stacy brings home from work show a guest Derek knows: Lulu, a French model he once dated. He answers none of Stacy's questions about her. Stacy tells her co-workers Barb and Ira what she fears, and Ira suggests that a handheld digital organizer can serve as a little black book. Barb and Ira urge Stacy to read Derek's.
