Plot summary
June 1982, the First Lebanon War. A single tank and a platoon of paratroopers are sent into a hostile town on a search mission. Four Israeli soldiers are inside the tank: the driver, the loader, the gunner and the commander. Their view of the outside comes only through the gunsight. Their orders are to clear the area of Lebanese personnel, and the orders permit phosphorus grenades, which an international treaty forbids. The gunner has not yet fired the cannon in combat and holds back at first.
