Plot summary
An atomic bomb is stolen, and the secret agents sent after it are dead. To keep Cuerpo de Élite, a secret unit created in the 1970s during Spain's Transition, from being shut down, Minister Boyero recruits five officers from regional forces: Santi, a Madrid mobility agent; Lola of the Andalusian Civil Guard; Pep, a Catalan Mosso d'Esquadra; Gorka of the Basque Ertzaina; and Byron, an Ecuadorian immigrant in the Spanish Legion who says he was born in Cuenca. Their task is to finish the mission the earlier team left incomplete and recover the bomb, which is tied to the Palomares accident of 1966, before it explodes. They do not get along, which puts the mission at risk.
