Plot summary

The camera travels to the coral reefs of the Bahamas and the seas around the Kingdom of Tonga, home to the ocean's surviving tribes, and comes in close to them. Wild dolphins and belugas appear, and so do humpback whales: a mother stays with her newborn calf, and the males sing. An orca, the killer whale, holds its place as the mighty king of the ocean, alongside the gentle manatee. The film examines little-known aspects of these animals, which communicate and interact socially in sophisticated ways, and it documents the lives of sea creatures that are graceful, majestic and endangered.
