Plot summary
Sam Davis persuades his former best friend, Marshall Schmidt, to join him for a weekend at an elegant beachside estate that belongs to the documentary filmmaker Whit Coutell. Marshall believes the trip is about rebuilding the friendship the two men once had, and he has no idea that Sam means to win Zoe back. Zoe, the woman Sam loves, is Whit's fiancée, and their wedding is only days away. Sam secures an invitation to a party at the beach house, and Marshall is dragged along while Sam works every angle to get near Zoe in the days before the wedding.
