Plot summary
In 1942, U.S. forces fired on unidentified craft above Los Angeles. Seventy years later, the visitors return. A large spaceship appears over the city, and a fighter squadron scrambles. Countermeasures from the ship make their missiles useless, and the squadron is destroyed; only Lt. Solano ejects safely. Smaller alien craft then strike a military base near Los Angeles. Marine Lt. Tyler Laughlin gathers survivors and leads them through the chaos, searching for a safe haven. On the way they find Captain Pete Rodgers, a young World War II pilot who says his squadron was taken by aliens in 1942 over the Bermuda Triangle. Rodgers and Lt. Solano join Laughlin's group. They meet Karla Smaith, a sword-wielding special agent, who brings them to a top-secret underground bunker.
