Plot summary
A new video club has just formed at a private school in Connecticut, and sophomore Robert is part of it. His attention is fixed on the Internet videos he watches constantly. It is through the club that Robert records twin senior sisters as they die from drugs cut with rat poison, and rather than call for help he goes to them and sits on the floor. Unease spreads among the students and teachers. The school, saying the drugs came from off campus, imposes bag searches and expulsions, and Robert and a classmate, Amy, are told to put together a memorial video for the twins.
