Plot summary
The singer built a career far from the small Texas town where he grew up, and his life now includes a wedding to a well-known actress only weeks away. He travels back to sell the family's old house. Sarah, his childhood friend, still lives there and runs a small ranch of her own. Time spent with her brings back the plain pleasures he had set aside, and songs start coming to him again after a long stretch without them. Weeks before the ceremony, he is no longer certain that the wedding, or the actress waiting for him, is the life he wants.
