Plot summary
Paige Summerlind writes for Radiant Bride magazine, and her checklist articles on finding a perfect mate have her convinced that her fiancé, Jack Collins, is hers. At Christmas she sets out for New York City to meet his parents, Susan and Neil Collins, before their June wedding; the two of them leave on vacation the day after the holiday. Snow grounds the plane in Buffalo, and her only way east is with three fellow passengers. Dylan Smith is single and sour on romance. Frank and Maxine Harper have been married twenty years and are bound for Connecticut, where their daughter lives.
