Plot summary

Mandy is a nurse on the night shift at an Arkansas hospital in 1999. She steals medications from patients to feed her drug habit, and she earns more by taking organs from patients who die under her care; her cousin Regina carries them out of the building to a trafficker named Nicholas. Desk nurse Karen works the scheme with her. At the start of a twelve-hour shift, Mandy hands Regina a kidney in a cooler behind the hospital, and Regina leaves with the wrong box. Nicholas, still waiting, tells her to bring the kidney or he will take one of hers.
