Melinda Culea

Melinda Culea is an American actress who began as a model before taking up acting. Born in Western Springs, Illinois, she is best known for playing Amy Allen, a newspaper reporter, on the 1980s hit series The A-Team. She appeared in the first season and part of the second, and she was dropped from the show in 1983, her final episode being The White Ballot. She went on to lead the short-lived series Glitter and spent two seasons from 1988 to 1990 as Paula Vertosick on Knots Landing, later playing a stepmother on Brotherly Love from 1995 to 1997, and she took guest parts on many other television shows of the 1980s and 1990s. Her films include Wagons East (1994) and Dying on the Edge (2001), and she was an executive producer on Odds Are... (2018). She has also written Wondago, an illustrated mystery novel published in 2016.
