Jamie Rose
Biography
Jamie Rose is an American actress and acting coach who started out as a child actor in commercials after being raised in Southern California. She made her feature debut in the slasher film Just Before Dawn (1981) and went on to supporting roles in Clint Eastwood's Tightrope (1984) and Heartbreakers (1984). On television she played Vickie Gioberti on the primetime soap Falcon Crest from 1981 to 1983 and led the crime series Lady Blue from 1985 to 1986, with guest appearances on shows such as Hotel, Columbo and Murder, She Wrote. Later credits include Atlas Shrugged: Part II (2012), Jane the Virgin in 2015 and Grey's Anatomy in 2016. She has run her own acting studio workshop in Los Angeles since 2007 and published a book about learning the tango in 2011.

First role
Rose started acting when she was six years old. Her first work was in Kool-Aid commercials, and as an adolescent she appeared in ads for Mountain Dew.
Early training
Rose transferred to California State University, Northridge, where she studied theater, but after a year she chose to go back to Los Angeles and eventually left school to act professionally.
Behind the camera
Rose has operated an acting studio workshop of her own in Los Angeles since 2007, and the workshop is called JRose Studio.
