Ivor Francis

Ivor Francis was a Canadian-born actor and acting teacher who worked largely in the United States. He started his career on radio in Canada and, after moving south, played Joe on the radio program Ma Perkins. On Broadway he appeared in plays including The Devil's Advocate, Gideon and J.B. Television kept him busy in guest roles on series from I Dream of Jeannie and The Odd Couple to Happy Days and Hawaii Five-O, and he played Carson Brookhaven for one season of the comedy Dusty's Trail from 1973 to 1974. He also turned up in Kojak and General Hospital. His film debut came in 1964 with The Devil Walks, and he later appeared in The World's Greatest Athlete (1973), Superdad (1973), Busting (1974), The Prisoner of Second Avenue (1975) and The House of the Dead (1978).
