Chris Lowell
Biography
Chris Lowell is an American actor known for television and film roles. Born in Atlanta, he attended the University of Southern California and was discovered there playing beach volleyball. After his first major audition won him a role on Life As We Know It, he appeared as Piz Piznarski on Veronica Mars, Dell Parker on Private Practice from 2007 to 2010, Bash Howard on GLOW from 2017 to 2019, and Jesse Walker on How I Met Your Father. His notable films include Up in the Air (2009), The Help (2011), and Promising Young Woman (2020), all nominated for Best Picture. He made his directing debut with Beside Still Waters (2013), which he co-wrote and co-produced, and is a vocalist and harmonicist for the band Two Shots for Poe. He also starred in the Off-Broadway production of Jacuzzi.
