Once Upon A Holiday (2015) on Netflix

Plot summary

Princess Katherine of Montserai, Katie to her friends, is in New York with her paternal Aunt Margaret for three days of royal duties before Christmas, after which she is to preside over Montserai's Christmas Festival. Katie, orphaned twenty years ago, studied photography and asks for an hour to see an exhibit at a museum. Aunt Margaret refuses, so Katie slips away from her aunt, her service detail and her obligations to walk the city unrecognized. There she meets Jack Langdon, a contractor in renovations who left a real estate career behind, and he helps her while knowing she is hiding something. Aunt Margaret hires Simon, a New York fixer, to locate Katie, and she and George Holt keep the disappearance from the media, while reporter Ross Hargreave covers Katie's visit.
