Normandy Nude (2018) on Netflix

Plot summary

Mêle-sur-Sarthe is a small village in Normandy where the farming crisis has left breeders exhausted and ruined, and they look for a way to draw attention to their dying trade. They organize a protest and block the RN 12 near Mortagne-au-Perche. An American photographer who works with nudes, in search of a setting for his next series, is stopped by the roadblock. Georges Balbuzard, a farmer who serves as the village mayor, meets him and proposes a media stunt: the photographer will take pictures of the villagers with no clothes on, since their work already leaves them bare. The locals are hesitant to undress, among them Roger, the butcher, who knows that other men would like to see his wife Gisèle, a former Miss Calvados. Family quarrels and a general sense of modesty complicate the plan.
