Plot summary
Casey McMullen is fed up with her life at the Krowne Donuts, so she hurls a cup at the wall. The stain it leaves behind appears to resemble Jesus Christ, and Casey quietly makes the likeness plainer. By morning she is the ring-leader of a faith circus: the parking lot fills with new customers and news media arrive. The hoax changes things for her strict boss, her believing boyfriend and the local priest. It reaches her father, Donald McMullen, most of all, a man who has been letting his mortgage payments and his business slide since a family tragedy.
