Plot summary
Kate, a model in her thirties, has just moved into the Brooklyn loft of her girlfriend Leah, a fashion photographer. Doubts about the relationship have already begun to surface, and Leah goes away for a few days to visit her family. Kate finds herself on her own in the apartment when the blackout of 2003 cuts the power across New York City, the largest outage in North American history. As the city goes dark, her paranoia grows and she comes to believe that someone in the building has been stalking her. No one is available to help her, and escape is out of her reach.
