Plot summary
Five short films, three of them connected, look at mental illness and the stigma around it. Lucy is a law student living with schizophrenia, and she stops taking her medication to prove the diagnosis wrong. Grace is a teenager whose mother has bipolar disorder. Allison is Lucy's sister and grows up in a family shaped by her sister's illness. Eddie is a stand-up comedian whose wife Julia tries to understand his depression. Maggie is a veteran who comes back to her son and father suffering from post-traumatic stress and memories of a sexual assault.
