Breeders (1997) on Netflix

Plot summary

A remake of a 1986 film of the same name, Breeders opens with a meteorite that comes down on Boston and hits a college campus. An alien beast is released from it and takes cover among the grounds and tunnels of an all-girls college close by, where it stalks the students. Ashley Rowe, an art teacher, learns that a monster is on the campus. He works out what the intruder wants: a mate, so that its species survives, and the destruction of humanity. Ashley is the only man who understands that mission, and the students are the prey it has chosen.
