Plot summary
A documentary about the LEGO building toy, the global culture that has grown around it and the toy's origins in Denmark. Of all the toys that appeared in the 20th century, this construction brick stands apart. It comes from a toy company owned by a single family, a family that did not give in to hard times or to repeated fires. Around the brick has gathered a following of collectors and hobbyists, and also of artists, architects, engineers, scientists and doctors. Those enthusiasts have found uses of their own for the construction toy, uses that reach well beyond children's playtime.
