Plot summary
Tommy Spinelli works as a courier for organized crime. Benny and Rico give him a duffel bag holding eight severed heads, meant as proof for a crime boss called Big Sep. By mistake, the bag is exchanged at the airport with the luggage of Charlie Pritchett, a talkative young man flying to Acapulco, where Laurie is waiting with her mother Annette and her father Dick. Tommy hunts down Charlie's friends Ernie and Steve and presses them for information. Charlie and Laurie, left with the wrong bag, look for a way to get rid of its contents. At the resort, Annette comes across one of the heads while hiding a gift in Charlie's luggage, mistakes him for a killer on the run, and her husband treats the claim as a delusion caused by her drinking.
