Plot summary
Yuma Takada is 23 and has cerebral palsy, which she has had since she went 37 seconds without breathing at birth. She uses a wheelchair and lives with her overprotective mother, Kyoko, drawing manga she hopes will make her name. A magazine editor tells her that her art is skillful but shows little worldly experience, and that her depictions of sex do not convince; she suggests Yuma lose her virginity and come back. That push sets Yuma on a search for a life of her own, away from her mother's watch, as she sets out to gain the experience she has been told she lacks.
