Plot summary
Over a single day, Juliette Jeanson moves between the new high-rise outside Paris where she lives with her husband Robert and their two children, and the city itself. She leaves her daughter with a man who looks after the children of several prostitutes. She buys a dress, sits in a cafe where other housewives do the same work, keeps a meeting with a client, and visits a beauty salon. Her manicurist, Marianne, comes along to the garage where Robert works. Between the scenes come views of construction work around Paris, and a whispered narration turns to politics, consciousness and the Vietnam War.

- Godard shot Two or Three Things I Know About Her every morning and Made in U.S.A every afternoon for a month, after producer Georges de Beauregard asked him to quickly make a film to offset a shortfall caused by the French government's ban of Jacques Rivette's The Nun.
