Product Description
28 Days Later (2002)
A group of misguided animal rights activists free a caged chimp infected with the "Rage" virus from a medical research lab. When London bike courier Jim (Cillian Murphy) wakes up from a coma a month after, he finds his city all but deserted. On the run from the zombie-like victims of the Rage, Jim stumbles upon a group of survivors, including Selena (Naomie Harris) and cab driver Frank (Brendan Gleeson), and joins them on a perilous journey to what he hopes will be safety.
28 Weeks Later (2007)
Six months after the original epidemic, the rage virus has all but annihilated the population of the British Isles. Nevertheless, the U.S. Army declares the danger past, and American soldiers arrive to restore order and begin reconstruction. Refugees return to British soil, but one of them carries a deadly secret: The virus is not gone and is even more dangerous than before.

The main character wakes up completely confused, with no idea what's going on, he thinks he is dreaming. This is why everything looks out of focus, and highlights are glowing. If you pay attention the film effects start out hazy and dream like, and waver from sharp focus and back to a dream like state for the first half of the movie as the main character tries to deal with the new world he has been thrust into. It's only when reality completely sinks in for the main character and his urge for survival finally emerges completely that everything is in crystal sharp focus.
It really upsets me that so many people gave this movie one star because of the video quality, when in fact it was intended to be this way to tell a more complete story.
Last night, I went to watch 28 Weeks on my in-laws premo system (typically I just watch at home on my laptop with my dvd copy) and I was Shocked; I repeat SHOCKED; to see how incredibly terrible the video quality was. I have read some other peoples reviews, and they state that the movies were made to look grainy. I could maybe see this being the case for 28 Days, but 28 Weeks was a smoothly polished, flowing work of art, and I clearly remember not thinking when I saw it in the theaters on release that "Hey, that persons face looks like a bunch of pixels". Yes I understand that video technology has gotten better. But I think the reality is, at least for the 28 Weeks disc, that this release is simply an upscaled dvd copy ported over to Blu-Ray format, and then sold as a double package to keep the franchise making some money.
I only buy Blu-Rays for movies that I want to watch at my in-laws house, since we do not have a good setup at home (talking Dark Knight, Sunshine, Prometheus, Pacific Rim, District 9, to name a few) so everything we watch is fine on dvd. I really regret purchasing this combo, and I hope that others will heed my warning. Buy the individual copies on Blu-Ray (if they exist) and maybe the product will be better. I just get so disappointed when some a-hole exec of a backwater distribution company acquires selling rights, outsources the project to china or wherever, and we the customer watch our beloved series get dragged through the mud.
I don't post many reviews on here, and I am always suspect of tons of temporal consecutive glowing 5-star reviews (as it seems this combo does have), so know this people: I am a verified person who purchased this product, and I love this franchise enough to take 15-20 minutes of my day to explain to everyone what an incredible rip-off/POS this product is. You have been warned.

Contiene 2 discos con ambas películas:
28 Days Later (Región A/B)
