If you like Knives Out, you'll like this movie. Smaller cast but still plenty of twists and good dialogue. It's both whondunit and whosgonnadowhat. Like a lot of stage-based material, some people may find the plot slow-moving, but I think that affects only the beginning & once the dramatic events start happening, the story picks up a lot of momentum.
Christopher Reeve was the real revelation here in a VERY different role for him. If you saw Dyan Cannon scream her way through Heaven Can Wait, there's more of that here. Michael Caine is oily and untrustworthy BUT WAIT ... naw, not gonna spoil it. You have to watch.
This movie does what it does very well. Four stars instead of five because, well, this ain't Alfred Hitchcock. It's a small-scale story and as such, the concept is constrained.
